Bauges Tome

Tome des Bauges cheese is only produced in the Massif des Bauges, the Savoie mountain range overlooking the lakes of Bourget and Annecy.

To guarantee constant quality and a respect for time-honoured production methods, the producers have joined together in the Syndicat Interprofessionnel de la Tome des Bauges, or SITOB, which owns the brand "Tome des Bauges, la tradition" and is a guarantee of the origin and authenticity of Tome des Bauges cheeses.
Tome is only made from raw milk from the cattle herds of the Massif des Bauges.

La Tome est fabriquée exclusivement à partir de lait cru provenant des troupeaux de vaches du Massif des Bauges.

These cows, grazing the meadows in summer and fed on unlimited hay in the winter, produce milk of exceptional quality.





Advises

You can enjoy it on its own or with:
hazelnuts, prunes, a Reinette apple, fennel, tomatoes, endives… to name but a few.
Try other combinations and complete the list yourself!

It is also the ideal accompaniment for:
omelettes, soups, pasta etc


Storage:
To prevent drying out, storage in a cellar in a closed earthenware or wooden container is recommended.
Failing that, keep it wrapped in its original wrapper in a food container at the bottom of your refrigerator and take it out at least one hour before serving.
